Shuichaco Productions History

SHIUCHACO productions was created from our high school anime club. The three of us have been friends for over two years. We decided to create our own productions team after watching skits from our fellow cosplayers - JAC Productions of Texas. Watching them inspired us to create our own skits. We were all brought together by our love for anime, and now we call ourselves SHIUCHACO Productions.

Where did we come up with the name SHIUCHACO Productions? Taru-chan took the first three letters of our characters last names and combined them. Taru-chan's original character's name is Hotaru Shidou. The SHI was combined from Kio-chan's Uch, from Uchiha, and Aco was taken from Shi-chan's real last name since she had trouble coming up with a character during the time. And there you have it, the birth of SHIUCHACO Productions.

Late in 2007, we started experimenting with our first skit, "Weird People". It was a random idea involving our original characters. As a group, we also attended our first anime convention, AnimeNext 2007. *Note:Pictures from cons will be desplayed in the photos section of our website.* On Halloween 2007, we produced our second skit, "Whatever". That was the introduction of Kio-chan and Shi-chan's new cosplays, Lady Tsunade and Urahara Kisuke.

Our group prepared for the 2008 AnimeNext and displayed our new cosplays. Shi-chan revealed her first hand made cosplay,Hanyuu from higurashi no naku koro ni kai. Kio-chan and Taru-chan also attended introducing their cosplays, Shippuden Hinata and Tifa. We are still working on new cosplays and skits. Look for us if you are in the area.

In the summer of 2008, SHIUCHACO Productions preformed its first improv skit. We have called it a success and plan to do more in the future, when time allows. As a result we will continue to ask our viewers for suggestions, so you can get involved with all the action. At the beginning of the new school year, our group has gained several new members. Look out for more history in the future.
